2022 will be the year of consolidation and economic recovery for our country; a recovery, which has started since 2021, according to Socialist MP and former minister of finance, Anila Denaj.
“The figures that point to an economic growth are positive. We are expecting to end 2021 with a growth of 7.6%,” – said Denaj.
During tonight’s political panel show ‘Now’ focused on the 2022 budget year, the Socialist MP said that the country is coming out of a recession, which led our country to a -4% decline last year.
According to Denaj, the country will see definite economic growth due to the rise in consumption.
The most active sectors that will experience this rise according to the former minister, are Education, Healthcare and Infrastructure.
Employees of the Education and Health sectors will also be granted a pay raise, by around 6%, starting from next year.
Most employees in our country won’t get taxed, says Civici
In addition, the dean of the Mediterranean University in Tirana, Adrian Civici, gave his take on the issue saying that the most fundamental financial decisions around the world at the moment, are all related to waiving the fiscal burden for employees and increasing the fiscal burden and taxes on property and capital.
According to Civici, this has started to happen in our country as well, with measures like lifting taxation on all salaries lower than 40,000 ALL. He also emphasized that through this measure, the majority of employees in the country won’t be paying taxes.
