COVID-19: The number of victims and infection rates drop considerably in Albania
The number of new cases and victims from COVID-19 in our country has dropped considerably this Monday. The Ministry of Health announced that in the past 24 hours, there are 344 new cases of COVID-19 out of 1993 tests. In addition, 1774 vaccines have been administered but 8 people were unfortunately unable to win the battle against the virus.
The municipalities most-affected by the virus were Tirana (90), Shkoder (27), Berat (27), Vlora (23), Pogradec (20).
Currently, the COVID designated hospitals in Tirana and three regional hospitals are treating 399 patients, 21 of whom in the intensive care unit and 7 intubated.
