The price of dairy has increased by more than 10% this month.
Processing companies say that the reason for this increase is the rising cost of raw materials. As a result, a 1.4-liter bottle of milk will now sell for 200 ALL, from 160 ALL it was in July.
This rise will also include other pre-packaged items, directly increasing the cost of living for Albanian households.
From June of last year, prices have gradually increased, up to 19% for the dairy group, while the country is faced with a decrease in the number of cows and sheep every year.
