3 in 5 Albanians (58.7%) of Albanian citizens think that Berisha should resign from political life.

However, when it comes to Albanians who voted for the Democratic Party in the last general elections, the score is reversed.

3 in 5 Democratic voters (63.2%) think that Berisha shouldn’t withdraw from the political scene.

Only 1 in 3 DP voters (30.8%) are in favor of Berisha’s ultimately resigning.

More than half of Albanian citizens (53.8%) think that DP won’t be able to come back to power with Berisha as their leader.

1 in 3 Albanians (33.8%) think that Berisha could come back to power if he becomes DP’s new leader.

3 in 5 DP voters (60.9%) think that Berisha will bring DP to power, as opposed to 27.8% who don’t.

More than 65% of DP voters think that Berisha will win the upcoming elections for DP’s new leader.

Only 16% think that another candidate will take his place.

50% of DP voters would elect Berisha as their new party leader if they had the right to vote.

Only 7.4% said they would re-elect Lulzim Basha instead.
