SPAK conducted a major raid across several cities on Thursday.
The operation tackling individuals allegedly involved in criminal gangs took place in Elbasan, Durres, and Tirana.
At least 10 people were in Elbasan.
Sources told Euronews Albania that SPAK had released an arrest warrant on several notorious figures.
Reportedly, there were also police officers among those detained, over suspicions that they had helped out criminals who were wanted by the authorities.
