The leader of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, was today in Vau Dejes where he explained the opposition’s program on wages for education staff.

Basha vowed to raise the salaries of teachers, university professors, prolonging school hours, five foreign languages courses as well as repealing the law on tertiary education.

The leader of the Democrats said that the serving government has neglected education and adequate education for the youth.

“Instead of according tax money to the children of the Albanian people, he has delegated them to a bunch of oligarchs, and in some cases, like that of Becchetti, to launch an attack for a personal grudge”, Basha said.

Furthermore, he vowed to “raise wages” after the elections and extend school hours to 4 PM starting from rural areas and smaller cities.

Basha also promised that in the first years of his governance, if elected, he will build a new campus for new jobs with a partial investment by the government.
