Political parties that wish to participate in the upcoming local by-elections will need to register by January 31.

The same deadline has been given to commissions that will be set up by groups of voters who wish to propose an independent candidate.

Candidates for mayor will have until February 9, to register for the election.

Parties will have to submit their candidates at their designated CEC, until Tuesday, January 25.

On March 6, citizens in Shkoder, Vore, Durres, Diber, Lushnje and Rrogozhine will be heading to the polls to vote for their new mayors.
