‘For the past 4 months, our public schools have run out of official registrars,’ – declared the former education minister, Mirela Karabina on Euronews Albania’s ‘Morning’.

‘We aren’t talking about a simple notebook. Teachers need official registrars, this is absolutely not serious,” – said Karabina.

In addition, the former minister said that none of our public schools have ahold of electronic databases, something that would be unimaginable anywhere else in the region.

Meanwhile, Luiza Nezha, a public-school teacher said that manual registrars have only been made available to a handful of schools.

According to Nezha, the whole system needs to be reformed and teachers need to undergo training in order to stay up to date with school systems in the rest of the region.
