Sources for Euronews Albania inform that Belind Kellici is ready to announce his candidacy for mayor of Tirana.
Kellici is expected to submit his candidacy this afternoon.
After that, he will undergo the primary process.
The primaries process for Tirana, Durres, and Elbasan will be completed within the month of November, in order to identify the candidates faster.
As for other municipalities, primaries will be held on December 4.
Meanwhile, today the chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, and the head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, will sign the cooperation agreement between the two political forces for the upcoming local elections.
