Officials from the Freedom Party have talked to Euronews Albania and denied the news that has been circulating in the press regarding the head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, being banned from participating in the Congress of the European Socialist Party.
“The news is not true”, responded the Freedom Party to an e-mail that started circulating in the press, which showed an alleged negative response from the European Socialist Party for Meta.
Meanwhile, in their public reaction, the Freedom Party clarified that Meta did not ask to be invited anywhere in Berlin, nor did he ask for an invitation.
“A flagrant, unfortunate case of how, in an obvious lack of professionalism, a media has been captured and is at the complete service of the Government’s dirty propaganda 24/27, openly spreading misinformation by lying to its readers day in and day out, with such a stupid deception. Ilir Meta did not even ask to be invited somewhere in Berlin, nor did he ask for any invitation because he has very important work to do here in Albania!” read the reaction.
The Freedom Party also highlighted that the e-mail that is claimed to have been received as a response from the European party, “was not sent to the Freedom Party address, but to the address [email protected], to the email of Ralf Gjoni and a fake address of Monika Kryemadhi, which does not exist: [email protected]”.
“No surprise from a portal sitting on its knees in front of Edi Rama, financed by money that stinks of incinerators, and local and Italian mafia! And if this “Fake News” is not their product, let them show the name of the “German” who served it to them, who must surely be one of those euro lovers who are financed with the funds of the Sinaloa cartel! Even the pillar of shame would be defiled to publish such a disgusting lie. So, take this “Fake News”, tear it up, and put it up wherever Edvin and Tao like it the most! And don’t forget: Refuse to pollute your eyes by reading such portals full of lies!”, the reaction reads further.
