Former MP of the Democratic Party, Gert Bogdani, has declared on Sunday that he will participate in the primaries to be declared the opposition’s candidate for mayor of Tirana.

A few days ago, MP Belind Kellici also announced his candidacy for the Tirana primaries.

In a statement to the media, Bogdani said that Tirana needs change more than ever.

“The time for change is now. Announcing my candidacy in this primaries process is my commitment to serve with dedication and humility, to lead the turnaround for change that Tirana seeks and deserves as a metropolis of Albanians inside and outside the country,” he said.

According to him, Tirana can only recover through a clear vision based on transparency and a program centered on the well-being and dignity of the citizen.
