Journalist Jonida Gupe has stated that in the next 15 years, Germany will need 7 million people in the labor market, in various sectors.
She said this in an interview for Euronews Albania, while talking about the “Green Card” that Germany will start offering to these immigrants.
“The labor market in Germany has a particular lack of qualified workers. Based on the figures that have come out recently, in the next 15 years, Germany will need around 7 million people in the labor market in various sectors.”
The journalist also listed the conditions that must be fulfilled by those who are interested in getting this card.
“Those interested must have a foreign diploma, they must have at least three years of experience, be at the age of 35, and have some knowledge of the German language. If three of these are met, the applicant can be considered for this type of assistance in order to obtain a work visa,” she added.
Federal Labor Minister Hubertus Heil has warned of a “modern immigration law” in order to attract more skilled labor to Germany.
For the well-known German newspaper “Bild am Sonntag”, he said that a Chance Card will be established with a transparent points system, in order for applications to be processed at a faster pace.
