The so-called ‘Homeland justice’ hacker group has published the list of persons wanted by the police of Vlora and Tirana.
The lists show the names and data of the wanted persons and a database of the police in 2 of the largest regions in the country. Euronews Albania has obtained the list of names, but for security reasons will not publish it.
Since 2021, Albanian authorities have faced numerous cyber-attacks.
A cyber-attack was recorded on July 15, 2020 that blocked all official state websites and the e-Albania online services platform.
Meanwhile, on September 14, the TIMS system was attacked and did not work at all border points throughout the country.
The Albanian government has accused Iran as the entity behind these cyber-attacks, and a decision was made last week to sever diplomatic ties between our countries.
Prime Minister Edi Rama declared 2 days ago that cyber-attacks have been very aggressive, but that their damage hasn’t been significant.
