Ambassador Vincenzo Del Monaco, the head of the OSCE Presence in Albania, declared that the final report on the parliamentary polls held on April 25, will be announced after the official results of the elections are out.
“The assessment of the electoral process is compiled by our partners from ODIHR, which is our human rights office. Now, we have published a report as a sign of democracy and transparency and is accessible by all. We are awaiting the final result, which I hope will be soon presented to the public and Albanian authorities, but I don’t have a precise date. I hope that there is a rational understanding and I am awaiting the final report from ODIHR partners before I make any reasonable comments”, said Del Monaco.
His remarks came during a visit in Shkodra where he attended an activity on crimes committed by the communist regime, in particular individuals that were executed and whose bodies have not been found to this day.
“As a human being we can never leave behind this insult ion human beings and deny them the right to a dignifying burial”, declared Ambassador Del Monaco.
