Activist Migen Qiraxhi was invited to ‘Today’ on Euronews Albania, during which he said that in Albania, young people are faced with difficulties, especially in terms of finding their purpose and becoming professionals.

“Even if you do find a job today, due to an extraordinarily polarizing context, you find yourself faced with emissaries that serve different political parties that end up destroying your career and young people today are trying to back away from this, which ultimately forces them to leave,” – said Qiraxhi.

The quote for nursing school has gone up 4-fold in our universities, according to the activist, because young people are attracted to the demand in foreign markets.

Qiraxih also said that around 1.340 nurses graduate each year and they find it impossible to be hired in Albania because our job market can’t meet that demand.

“Only 14% end up staying in Albania,” – said the activist.

“1.319 young people who graduate, make an attempt to leave,” – he added.
