A burnt house and hundreds of hectares of land make up the balance so far of the wildfires that broke out in Shkodra yesterday.
The flames were favored by the wind, but by dinner time, they were brought under control by local authorities and firefighter teams.
It’s been reported that several people who were asphyxiated by the smoke were transported to the hospital to receive first aid.
2 fires are still active in the village of Vilez in Shkllak and in Jushi Mountain.
The total damage assessment began this morning and is currently underway.
