The prayer for Eid-el-Fitr at Skanderbeg square, has now turned into an annual tradition for all Muslim believers, which is why this year will make no exception.

Tirana’s deputy mufti, Erjol Haxhiu will be the one leading the prayer at 06:20 a.m. on Monday morning.

“We are getting ready to put an end to all the good work with the great celebration of Eid-el-Fitr – a holiday which will be celebrated on Monday, May 2, at Skanderbeg square. The prayer will start at 06:20,” – said Haxhiu.

The prayer will be followed by a 40-minute talk by the leaders of the Muslim community in our country.

The Eid prayer officially wraps up the month of fasting and sacrifice for all Muslim believers.
