The Special Envoy of the European Union for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajčák, said that a final agreement between the two states is “technically achievable within a few months if both sides really want and have the political will”
He emphasized that EU member states expect the dialogue to proceed without any further delays and “reach swift progress in negotiations for an inclusive deal”.
In an interview for Serbian news channel Beta, Lajčák that political leaders must “invest political efforts and capita, political will and courage, as well as support and comprehension for their people over the issues that they will negotiate for the difficult decisions ahead”.
