Professor Xhavit Shala said during an interview for Euronews Albania that the recent news of possible attacks in Albania is normal, seeing that our country is sheltering a group of refugees that are part of the Iranian opposition.

“I don’t believe that their opponents, Iran’s intelligence services, will try with all shapes and forms to realize their plans for this attack,” – said Shala.

The security expert also added that it wouldn’t be a surprise if intelligence services had recruited people from Albania too, seeing that their objective is currently sheltered here.

However, Shala affirmed that the law enforcement agencies are working continuously on preventing such incidents from taking place.
