31 citizens have been put behind bars in Kosovo, after the implementation of the police operation dubbed ‘Subsidy 2021’.
After investigations conducted by Special Prosecution authorities, a total of 12 arrest warrants have been executed on public officials of the Agency for Agricultural Development and the Agency of Forestry in Kosovo.
In addition, another 19 citizens who had indirectly benefited from these subsidies have been taken into custody.
The defendants, in this case, will face charges of ‘Bribery’, ‘Abuse of power’, ‘Subsidy Fraud’ and ‘Document forgery and falsification’.
