The Government Commission for Missing People in the Republic of Kosovo announced on Thursday that Serbia has halted operations at the site of a suspected massive grave.

Kosovo claims Serbia refused to give any further information and they are now demanding additional satellite images from the site but covering a larger timespan, in order to mark the location of the massive gravesite more precisely.

Serbia stopped excavation in the area after declaring that it did not find any human remains.

Kizevak is Serbia’s fifth massive burial site containing human remains of Albanian ethnic citizens. Until now, authorities have found the bodies of three people, out of another twenty that are believed to have been buried at the site.

However, there are some other locations that have been proposed upon a formal request from the Serbian delegation, and the internationals, in line with this process.
