Kosovo’s government decided to allocate around 200 thousand euros to Albanians in the Preshevo Valley for the procurement of books.

The decision was made this Wednesday during the routine government meeting.

A month ago, the government of Kosovo allocated another 50 thousand euros in financial aid for the Preshevo Valley.

At the time, PM Kurti said that this was in response to a request made by the National Albanian Council and representatives of Preshevo, Medvegje and Bujanoc.

“With the goal of backing the political cause of Albanians in Preshevo, Medvegje and Bujanoc, and on the basis of a request previously presented to us, we propose to allocate 50 thousand euros in support of lobbying activities of the National Albanian Council and Albanian representatives there,” – said Kurti.
