Macedonian Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski, has stated that the cooperation between all 3 countries opens key pathways.
In his speech at today’s Open Balkan summit in Belgrade, he said that there will be no restrictions on open trade between participating countries and that they will help each other out, as good neighbors do.
“It is clear that through the Open Balkan initiative, North Macedonia, Albania and Serbia have taken a significant step towards a significant path. The cooperation between our 3 countries has opened the way for us to manage energy and food security challenges, at a time all other countries around the world are faced with a serious crisis. We will help each other and other countries. As good neighbors should do and as everyone should, we will help each other if we have difficulties in terms of food products, we will put a stop to trade delays, and circulation will be permitted without any kind of restriction, for dairy, wheat, flour, and other products. Our ministry has also provided funds to secure agricultural resources. The government is working on engaging all our energy potentials, to better face the crisis. We will also be providing financial assistance to citizens in need. There is great potential. And we are also working on the exchange of electricity.’- said Kovacevski.
