This afternoon, Prime Minister Albin Kurti is holding a surprise meeting with the Special Representative of the European Union, Miroslav Lajcak.

The news was confirmed by Perparim Kryeziu, the government spokesman, through a post on his official Facebook account.

It is not known yet what Kurti and Lajcak will be discussing.

“After, the daily agenda of official meetings will continue as usual. This is the reason why he could not stay longer in Parliament”, said Kryeziu about Kurti’s sudden departure from the Assembly.

Last Friday, Lajcak held another meeting with Kurti, where he underlined that the goal of the dialogue between the two countries, Kosovo-Serbia, should be to reach a binding agreement on mutual recognition.
