The protest for the murder of the 7-year-old girl in Himare has been announced for 19.30 PM this evening, but the number of citizens present in the premises in front of the Ministry of Interior is quite small.

Lawyer Altin Goxhaj, who was one of the organizers of the protest, said that if until yesterday the dismissal of the responsible ministers was expected, today their dismissal is demanded.

“Today we demand the dismissal of the entire management chain. We ask for security for our children’s lives. It is a situation of daily anxiety. Responsibility must be accounted for, otherwise this means that the risk will continue”, said Goxhaj.

On August 2, the former head of the Himara Police Station, Arjan Tase, killed 7-year-old Avdia, while performing dangerous maneuvers with a speedboat on the beach of Potami in Himara.

He was a police officer and was therefore dismissed from the police force by the Director General, Gladis Nano.

In relation to this serious event, the Court of Vlora has ordered Tase’s arrest and imprisonment.
