The minister of interior in North Macedonia, Oliver Spasovski, called on protestors in Skopje to refrain from using hate speech.
In addition, he stated that if they want to protest, they can but they should do it in a dignified and peaceful manner.
“If you want to express your democratic right to public protest, you can, but I urge you to do this through a peaceful and dignified protest. I am once again calling on everyone to behave responsibly during this detrimental moment for our democracy. No attempts of violence should be made, no tensions and no use of hate speech,” – he said.
