The Prime Minister of Finland, Sanna Marin, expressed full support for Albania’s EU membership.
Marin said that it is ‘essential’ to preserve peace and harmony in the Western Balkans during a joint press conference with PM Ram.
“Albania has supported us be that in theory and in practice. It is important to state loudly and clearly that we stand united and that there is no room for Russia’s logic. We must increase sanctions against Russia”, said Marin.
“Harmony in the Western Balkans is vital; we want to support Albania in its bid to join the EU”.
“We appreciate your role at the Security Council. There are no deeper relations among nations, other than being allies. There’s also a lot of potential when it comes to relations between Finland and Albania”.
Prime Minister Edi Rama declared that Albania supports Finland joining NATO.
