The President of Serbia, Aleksander Vucic, will demand autonomy for the North of Kosovo.

This is what the publicist from Kosovo, Milaim Zeka, said in an interview for Euronews Albania as he revealed that this was confidential information that he had received through diplomatic channels.

“In recent days, I received information from diplomatic contacts that Serbia will present a new request, that the north of Kosovo has a special status, that is, it will request autonomy for the north of Kosovo. So, we are in a very difficult state of dialogue with Serbia”, claimed Zeka.

When all the eyes of regional and European politics are on the Kurti-Vucic meeting on August 18 in Brussels, the rhetoric between the parties seems honest and offensive from the Serbian side. In addition to this, there have also been external voices against Kosovo following the detention of Russian journalist and alleged spy, at the Kosovo border.
