An Albanian businessman in Italy, who was reported missing by his family 2 days ago, was found dead after having suffered a gunshot.

The victim, identified as Fatmir Ara, 43 years old, was found in a rural part of San Carlo Canavese (Torino) after being shot with a pistol-type firearm.

Italian media has reported that the dead body was found lying on the ground, a few steps away from a dark carriage parked on the side of a small road.

The businessman had left his home in Turin on September 2 never to be seen again.
