The Prime Minister of Montenegro Dritan Abazovic discharged Thursday the director of the National Security Agency, Dejan Vuksic, reported local media CdM.
In a status shared on Twitter, Abazovic thanked Vuksic for his service, professional and productive cooperation, but said the country is “turning a new page”.
Danas sam se gospodinu Dejanu Vukšiću zahvalio na profesionalnoj i produktivnoj saradnji koju smo imali u prethodnom periodu. Okrećemo novi list. Nastavljamo sa reformama u bezbjednosnom sektoru.

“We’re turning a new page. We’re pursuing reforms in the security sector”, Abazovic wrote.
Local media CdM recalls that Abazovic had warned about the move in a previous public appearance.
Savo Kentera, the CEO of the Atlantic Council of Montenegro, a foreign policy think-tank and public policy group based in Podgorica, was appointed as the acting director of the agency.
