Attorney Spartak Ngjela said in an interview for Euronews Albania that if the DP remains under Sali Berisha’s leadership, this party will be declared non-grata by Washington.
“Who will America accept, Alibeaj or this other one? They’ve said if Berisha takes over the DP, the party will be declared non-grata by America. Washington does not accept it. Washington is the protector of Albania and Albanians. You entered NATO, without any conditions; America was the one that took you in’, said Ngela.
In addition, he argued that the US ambassador, Yuri Kim never meets with Berisha and that DP is legally under the direction of Enkelejd Alibeajt.
