Serbian president Alexandar Vucic declared that North Macedonia should consider and not refuse the French proposal on the resolution of the dispute with Bulgaria, before thinking about its national interests.
In an interview for Sitel, Vucic said that North Macedonia should be a part of the European family.
“What is the alternative according to you? They will ask Bulgarians one thing and ask others something else. There will always be something. But, you must push your country forward. It’s good to walk on the European path and it is good to open up possibilities that attract more investments. This is important and it is a positive thing,” – said Vucic.
According to the Serbian president, during a country’s European journey, even though there are hurdles on the way, they should all be resolved and eliminated one after the other.
As North Macedonia finds itself in the presence of numerous protests led by citizens and the opposition who refuse the French proposal, political parties in the country have put together a work group that will review and consider the proposal put forth by the French government.
