Today the price of oil went up again in Albania.
The Transparency Board decided to fix the oil price at 221 ALL or €1.81 euros per liter until March 23.
Meanwhile, the price of gasoline will be fixed at 211 ALL or €1.73 euros per liter whereas gas will be 93 ALL or €0.76 euros a liter.
Each wholesale and retail operator should oblige to these rules or else they could face a penalty that could even lead to them losing their license.
The last time the price of fuel was changed by the government was March 16, when they decided to fix the price of oil at 206 ALL or €1.69 euros /liter and the price of gasoline at 203 ALL or €1.66 euros /liter.
The decision to set up the Transparency Board was made by the Albanian government following the sharp rise of fuel prices that was triggered by the war in Ukraine.
