During today’s plenum, Parliament overturned a request made by MP Tritan Shehu to vote on a resolution that condemns the Serbian genocide in Srebrenica, Bosnia and Hercegovina.

Meanwhile, during the vote, former PM Sali Berisha was filming MPs that voted against this resolution.

Berisha declared that the recognition of the Srebrenica genocide was a necessary act for all civilized nations and societies and that it was fundamental that it never be repeated again.

In addition, he took a jab at Serbian president Alexandar Vucic by calling him a small Putin that was able and ready to commit genocides.

Head of SP’s parliamentary group, Taulant Balla on the other hand, argue that wen Sali Berisha was president, he allowed the supply of the Yugoslavian army with oil, during the Srebrenica massacre in Bosnia and Hercegovina.
