Construction permits in the third quarter of this year fell by 39 percent.

INSTAT data show that for the July-September period, 269 permits were approved in total, out of 442 permits that were granted in the third quarter of last year.

On a national scale, there is also a decrease in the surface area of ​​permits granted by almost 120 thousand square meters less than in the same period in 2021.

However, in Tirana, the construction surface area has reached record levels, exceeding last year’s limit by 16.7 %. Throughout all of last year, the area of ​​construction permits in the capital was 1 million and 650 thousand ALL.
