The Prime Minister’s Office has come out with another reaction to the recent cyberattack earlier today, saying that the state’s data systems haven’t been compromised.
In their press communication, they said that the attack was identified at noon on Friday, and immediately after, all government systems were isolated.
According to the PM’s Office, the attack resembles the ones suffered by the information system in Ukraine back in February, but they highlighted that our systems haven’t been compromised.
The news of this cyberattack was made public a day ago by the National Agency of Information Society.
As a result, online services and government systems will remain closed until a full neutralization of the criminal attack.
According to the Agency, the sophisticated cyberattack launched against our systems comes from outside Albanian territories.
