Police busted on Saturday a warehouse located in a town in Albania’s northern district Malesi e Madhe that had been turned into a crypto farm.
Police arrested a 60-year-old man who was the owner of the warehouse and also seized 14 devices used for crypto mining.
The operation led by the police came after a tip received from OSHEE, the country’s electrical distributor company, after it had noticed an illegal electricity connection.
An investigation is still ongoing to find out whether other people had been involved in the illegal activity.
