Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani reacted on Thursday to Russia’s attack on Ukraine.
Osmani reiterated the country’s support for the people of Ukraine.

Osmani emphasized that Kosovo will cooperate with the allies to prevent any potential regional destabilization.
Prime Minister Albin Kurti also condemned the attack, calling it the ‘second major military aggression since WWII’.
“This is a sad morning for Europe because as we are here in a conference in Prishtina, Ukraine is being invaded by Russia, the largest military aggression not only in Europe, since the end of World War II”.
Russian President Vladimir Putin authorized a military attack against Ukraine in the early hours of Thursday, February 24, saying that the only objective is to demilitarize Russia’s southern neighbor.

Putin warned that any interference by other countries would lead to “consequences you have never seen”.
Meanwhile, Ukranian Volodymyr Zelenskyy declared Martial Law in the early hours of Thursday and made an emotional appeal to Russian citizens pleading on them not to support the attack on Ukraine.
