The Public Commissioner has appealed to the Constitutional Court, the decision given on May 26 of this year by the Independent Qualification Commission, which reconfirmed Bledar Bejko as District Prosecutor at the Durres Judicial District Court.

According to the Public Commissioner, after reviewing this decision, legal circumstances and evidence were found that make the decision vulnerable in its entirety.

As a result, the Public Commissioner has called for the nullification of this decision and the subsequent dismissal of prosecutor Bejko.

Bledar Bejko started his career in the justice system in 1999 as a prosecutor in the Prosecutor’s Office of Tirana.

In 2007, he was transferred to the Prosecutor’s Office of Fier and since 2013 he has been working in the Prosecutor’s Office of Durres.
