Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama took a harsh stance against SPAK on Saturday during his word at the National Assembly of the Socialist Party.
Rama said SPAK is losing the battle against the evil in the country and warned that the government’s patience is wearing thin.
“I will repeat this to SPAK, you’ve probed into everyone from this group, and go ahead continue to do that… high-level officials… go ahead. But now you’re truly entering the extra time in the match against evil in this country. And so far evil has qualified, and you have been disqualified. Our patience is wearing thin. This means that SPAK, and all those who want justice in this country, must bear in mind that we haven’t lost our voice”, Rama said.
PM Rama said SPAK has not put in front of justice any of the judges or prosecutors ousted by the vetting process. He added that this will be among the first things that Albania will have to give accountability for at the negotiating table for its EU integration.
