Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted once again about his recent dispute with Democratic MP, Agron Shehaj, by declaring that he is just another frontrunner of Berisha’s ‘pulpit’ who doesn’t know the law.
According to Rama, Shehaj violated his construction permit, even exceeding the 10% legal tolerance.
“The speaker of the pulpit seems to have pulled out a lease contract showing a construction permit, but he doesn’t know the law because he talks about his business in Parliament, at a time when he shouldn’t have been involved in an illegal construction, and he should have known better because a business can’t be run in a building which you have no permission to use!
As for the construction permit, it has been violated, that is, it has been nullified by the builder himself, who by exceeding the 10% legal leeway, has made the building subject to seizure according to the law! But what can you do? From hiding in shacks to breaking and entering, this is just another habit of the Democrats,” – wrote Rama in a Twitter post.
Shehaj stated on Thursday that the police shut down his business and seized the premises where he operated, without any permission or order from the Prosecutor’s Office.
During his speech before Parliament, Shehaj said that police officers had forced out his employees, terrorizing them, without any legal mandates whatsoever.
Rama responded to him almost immediately by underlining that the building in which Shehaj’s business activity was being carried out, has been blocked as a result IKMT’s conclusion that it is illegal and based on the law, the confiscation order was issued and executed accordingly.
