The State Cadaster Agency completed the initial registration and started issuing ownership certificates for Himara and the Palasa area.

The head of ASHK, Artan Lame, said that this process puts an end to a 100-year history of uncertainty about property titles in this area. The registration process, according to the head of the Cadaster, had its own problems.

“We had about 400 complaints during the registration process, which were taken into account, discussed, debated and resolved before we reached the end of this process”, said Lame.

In total, about 3700 properties are registered in the Municipality of Himara.

The application for obtaining the ownership certificate will be done online only.
