None of the roads have been closed in spite of the bad weather conditions that have swept through the entire nation.
Head of ARRSH, Evis Berberi, confirmed this through a public message earlier today, adding that this institution has taken all provisional measures.
‘We have deployed over 100 snow plowing trucks on the ground, as well as 390 assistance vehicles and over 800 maintenance workers,” – said Berberi on Euronews Albania ‘Morning’.
In addition, the head of ARRSH said that the most problematic areas are those in the country’s northern and northeastern regions, including Librazhd.
‘This time around, we faced greater issues with frost rather than snow. The most problematic axes are in the country’s northernmost and northeastern regions, as well as more remote parts of Librazhd,” – he said.
Berberi called on all citizens to stay alert and use winter tires as well as snow chains because they will be needed even though roads have been treated with salt.
