The Russian foreign ministry has reacted to a statement made by PM Edi Rama regarding the union of Albania and Kosovo.
Through a spokesperson, the Russian foreign minister considered it unacceptable for the Albanian prime minister to make a declaration of this nature, adding that that the encouragement of a plan for a Greater Albania, only serves to undermine the stability of the region.
During a televised interview conducted two days ago, PM Rama declared that the unification of Albania and Kosovo is one of his aspirations, but that he wouldn’t prefer to be the one to lead it.
