Around 8000 business owners and their employees from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Northern Macedonia traveled to Belgrade and Niš yesterday, in order to get the vaccine against COVID-19.

Around 10.000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine were secured by the Regional Forum of Investments for the Western Balkans in collaboration with the Serbian government.

Even though Kosovo is part of this forum, its Chamber of Commerce refused to participate.

Serbia has a population of 7 million and is the second country in Europe with the highest rhythm of vaccination after Great Britain, as it has already administered more than 2.1 million doses.

Serbia is currently using the AstraZeneca, Pfizer as well as the Chinese and Russian vaccines.
