The Serbian constitution continues to state that Kosovo is part of Serbia.
If Serbia was to remove this preamble from its constitution, then Kosovo would have no issue with the formation of any associations.
This is what the head of Kosovo’s Academy of Science, Mehmet Kraja, said during an interview for Euronews Albania’s ‘SOT’ with Jonida Shehu.
“If Serbia was to remove this preamble and recognize Kosovo’s territorial integrity and its sovereignty; if it was to recognize Kosovo as an independent state, then no association would be a problem for Kosovo,” – said Kraja.
Mehmet Kraja also emphasized that according to him, the issues between Serbs and Kosovans are rooted in Belgrade, and they don’t come from regular Serbians.
