Seven citizens, who had contracted the Covid-19 virus have unfortunately lost their lives in Kosovo, whereas new infections continue to be on the rise.
According to data published by IKSHPK, in the last 24 hours out of 4487 suspected tests, 684 came out positive.
Since the onset of the pandemic, 1967 people lost their lives and the total number of recoveries is now well over 80 000.
The most affected communes in terms of positive cases are:
Prishtina 217 cases, Peja 52 cases, Gjakova 46 cases, Mitrovica 44 cases, Gjilan 43 cases, Podujeva 38 cases, Fushe-Kosova 35 cases.
For several days now, Kosovo has applied the new restrictive measures, which aim to bring down the curve of infections. Another issue that Kosovo is faced with is the lack of vaccines.
