The leader of the Coalition of United Albanians Shaip Kamberi won 0,28% of the votes at the parliamentary polls held in Serbia on Sunday, enough to secure a seat in the Serbian legislative.
The Albanian Democratic Alternative, led by Shqiprim Arifi, failed to secure a seat in parliament.
Albanian parties had been eyeing to secure over three parliamentary mandates.
With over 87% of ballots counted, the list of the Serbian president swept 43,4% of the votes, announced on Monday by the Republican Election Commission.
Coming in second was the coalition “United for the Victory of Serbia” with 13,1% of the votes, while the Socialist Party only won 11,7% of the votes.
