According to analyst Baton Haxhiu, the voting in of Kosovo’s new government, led by Albin Kurti shows little hope regarding bringing Kosovo something new, going as far as calling it “hopeless”
“It is hopeless, this government led by this man that said nothing more than a poem about how he will govern, saying no concrete numbers, no planning or projections about all he has previously stated as a man against the system” said Haxhiu.
“I will applaud him if he does anything for Kosovo. I have little hope that he will bring Kosovo anything new, except for a model of how power can be taken by force”, said the analyst.
On the contrary, Andi Bushati stated that the change that has just happened in Kosovo, where an anti-system party was able to win the elections, in Albania is still unimaginable.
However, Bushati also has his reservations saying that Kurit’s speech in parlimant was poetic and didn’t revolve around concrete commitments. Despite everything, he called Kurti a model of resistance.
“He came to power with plebiscite votes. He is a model of resistance against violence,” said Andi Bushati.
