During today’s National Convention of the SMI (Socialist Movement for Integration), a change of name was proposed and adopted.
The new name will now change from SMI to FP or Freedom Party.
Silva Caka read before those attending, a list of statutory changes that were adopted by high party officials, amongst which was a name change.
Party officials had previously declared that his Convention would serve as a starting point for the reconceptualization of SMI, but also to bring about changes that are necessary for the country’s opposition.
